Raised in the heart of Minnesota, we aim to create and expand our capabilities every year! in 2015 we started programming with Python for robotics, and to this day are still pioneering and expanding this option! We are, typically, one of less than a half dozen in the state at any given time programming with Python, and we love it!

In 2017, UC-Botics received the “Innovation in Control Award” – For our unique capabilities of creating and operating a full 360 degree field of view through 4 USB Webcams, and by programming 13+ Autonomous modes ready and operable for the Steamworks game!

Also in 2017 – UC-Botics became a founding member of the Northern Minnesota Robotics Hub. Our Head Mentor – Curtis Robertson, was nominated Vice-President of the Conference in 2018. Each Year there is a Conference Championship event, and it takes place in a variety of locations from, 2017- Cass Lake Bena High School, 2018- Bemidji High School, in 2019- Thief River Falls, and soon in 2020 – Upsala High School!
