The Fall season is here, and UC-Botics has been working hard with its outreach! The last two weeks have been filled with Elementary Students, Robots, and Cotton Candy!
UC-Botics was invited to the ‘Young Scientist Conference’ at CLC-Staples to present about FIRST Robotics Competition! Our 5 team members shared about the robot, what their experiences were like, and also helped students drive the robots as well.
The very next day our team setup camp at the Homecoming Football game to spin Cotton Candy! It was a hot day, but we managed to see Lots of Smiles!
Lastly this week was the kickoff to our FIRST LEGO LEAGUE 5th and 6th grade teams. Three of the UC-Botics Team members are helping mentor our Two FLL Teams this year in the new challenge “Unearthed”. The kids have been excited and we are looking forward to seeing the amazing things our teams can do at the Bemidji Regional!
Team 4480 will be attending the Norther Minnesota Robotics Championship (NMRC) On October 24th and 25th in Brainerd MN. There we shall be competing with a number of teams from all around the state and North Dakota!
