It’s beginning to look a lot like Robots! Every, where, we, go!
Truthfully, our Robotics team has had a great adventure this recent October by heading up to Bemidji MN to assist in setting up the Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference Championship event. Along the way, we stopped for a tour of Bemidji State University. After seeing what a 4 year campus looks like, we then went to the high school and began setting up for our two day event!
On the first day our robot ran into a number of minor technical issues on the field that were quickly remedied overall. These were great talking and learning points for future matches. Along the way we also spent time working on driving practice, and communication skills with other teams.
On Saturday was the NMRC Open event, where there too we continued to work on our driving skills, honed in on our abilities of shooting the notes into the speaker to the best of our abilities, and still continued to grow in developing closer relations to other teams, and help build our resource network for our own robot too!
It was a great event! Our new team members helped in many great capacities! There was excitement to be had, and we are looking forward to the next event this spring!
Thank you to our great sponsors for the 2024 season! we truly appreciate all of your support in helping the students gain materials, build a working robot, and to attend the competitions!
