Well, it is now week four and we have finished building our chassis. It is wired and programmed so it can drive now! Our goals this week are to work on getting bumpers mounted and creating our prototype for the shooter mechanism that will be used for competition.
I am excited to announce that our Robotics team has started a Tumblr fundraiser where we bought a printer and are able to print tumblers. To start we have created three different tumblers styles available for purchase, the first is an Upsala Cardinals, the second is a USA patriots, and third is a Robotics Tumblr! each Tumblr is going to be valued at $25. We have many available in the office currently and can make more as necessary!
Unfortunately due to illnesses all around, practices might be cut short at little notice due to them. For instance last Friday and Saturday. So I would just like to encourage and remind everyone to please wash your hands, drink plenty of water, Get lots of rest, and take the time to recover properly, as this bug is fairly quick moving and is not very very nice.
Here is a glimpse at this week build schedule: Monday no practice due to illness Tuesday practice after school until 5:30 PM Wednesday, no practice after school Thursday late practice after school until 7 PM - we will be at the basketball game as well Friday Practice and build until 6 PM Saturday practice and build from 9:30 AM until 2 PM
